Mmm- appetizers and broth!

I lucked out again this week at Publix. The Pillsbury flaky bite appetizers were BOGO this week as was College Inn Broth. Here’s how it worked out:

We ate one box this weekend with some friends and they were awesome!! They’ll be the perfect Thanksgiving appetizer.

The broth actually turned out to be an excellent deal with the $1 coupons in thier Winter Family Savings Booklet:

.76 for two, or .36 each!

A full Thanksgiving dinner for less than $25? I’m on a mission this year!

(*Disclaimer* I will allow myself to use the staples I already have at home, such as sugar and flower without counting towards my total. I figure most people have these anyway and will be able to do the same).

The trick is to collecting your items early, while you can still take advantage of the sales. Last night I got 4 bags of Oreida Steam & Mash potatoes is for 25 cents each! Here’s how:

1 coupon for any bag of Orieda Frozen Potatoes free WYB 2 bags.

= 99 cents for all 4 bags!

The best part is that this deal also included the sweet potatoes, so I got 2 bags of garlic and herb and 2 bags of sweet potatoes, and now we are set on potatoes for Turkey Day!
